phpBB extension 5.6.7 not working on phpBB 3.1.10?

Unread post by Richard » 26 Jul 2018, 10:30

Hello,

This morning I installed phpBB extension 5.6.7 according to the manual https://cleantalk.org/help/update-phpbb31

But even with key o.k. Cleantalk isn't working. The test e-mail succesfully registers and 5 spammers got through.

Back to version 5.6.5 and Cleantalk works.

What is the best procedure to follow?
Regards,

Richard

Hello.

Thank you for your request.

We did tests on phpBB 3.1.10 and didn't notice any errors or incompatibilities.

Please, make sure that you're using correct access key after updating.

You can see your access key in your CleanTalk Control Panel:
https://cleantalk.org/my/

Could you give the link to your website? We will test it as well.

Best regards.

Thank you for your answer.

What is the maximum time that it takes for the dashboard to show up-to-date app version?

Our forum is https://forum.nikon-club-nederland.nl/ currently using app version 5.6.5.

Tomorrow morning i will update Cleantalk.
Regards,

Richard

The CleanTalk Dashboard takes information from the first spam check request that comes from your website.

If there are no requests coming from your website then the anti-spam version could not be updated.

You can always check the protection with this blacklisted e-mail:
stop_email@example.com

Thank you.
